Dr. Dugoni Receives Award from South San Francisco Chamber of Commerce
On Friday, February 10th, Dr. Steven Dugoni was presented the Longevity Award by the South San Francisco Chamber of Commerce. Congresswoman Jackie Speier presented the award at the South San Francisco Conference Center.
The Dugoni Family dental career began in 1950 when Dr. Dugoni’s father, Dr. Arthur Dugoni, opened his office at the corner of Grand and Spruce in South San Francisco. After Dr. Arthur Dugoni completed his orthodontic training he opened a new office in 1966 at1131 Mission Road, where the Dugoni orthodontic office has remained to this date. In 1981 Dr. Steven Dugoni finished his orthodontic training and joined his father at the Mission Road Office, taking over the practice reins in 1985. Dr. Dugoni is committed to serving his community with the highest level of orthodontic care for many years to come.
In addition to Dr. Dugoni’s private practice, he is a clinical professor of orthodontics at the Arthur A. Dugoni, School of Dentistry. He is also a Director of the American Board of Orthodontics, a certifying agency for orthodontists. Dr. Dugoni has served as President of the San Mateo County Dental Society and the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists. He lectures nationally to orthodontists and has numerous publications in orthodontic journals.
Dr. Dugoni has truly enjoyed his 31 years of orthodontic practice in South San Francisco. With the assistance of his orthodontic team, Dr. Dugoni has been able to provide the many people in South San Francisco with beautiful and healthy smiles.
